Training seminar on SUMP observatory held in Rome at the “Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea” on June 28, 2016
Giorgio Ambrosino, on behalf of MemEx (CIPTEC’s project partner in Italy) has given a specific presentation on the role of ITS and the PT innovation in the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan methodology at the training course organised by EUROMOBILITY association under the Italian SUMP observatory and Endurance EU projects with the support of the National Ministry of Environment.
The training course was focused on the Italian Local Authority technicians that are in charge to develop the SUMP for their towns.
In this context, Giorgio Ambrosino, beside to analyse the interrelation between the SUMP methodology and the different ITS supporting the identify solutions, has presented the approach of CIPTEC and the identified innovation for the Public Transport in order to enhance the overall urban mobility planning and management.
Finally, the CIPTEC video (with Italian subtitles) was presented and discussed with the audience.
