The 20th annual European Conference on Mobility Management – ECOMM 2016 was held on 1-3 June of 2016 in Athens. EPOMM is the European Platform on Mobility Management and includes a growing number of committed Member States that support the development and spread of Mobility Management across Europe. During this year ECOMM is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its foundation.
CIPTEC project was present at the ECOMM 2016. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), project’s coordinator, had a stand at the registration hall and among others promoted the aim and the objectives of the CIPTEC project. Ortelio Ltd. also participated to the Conference and promoted CIPTEC project to the participants. Giorgio Ambrosino representing Tiemme made references to the CIPTEC project at his presentation entitled “The Smart City concept implemented into the real practice: the experience of Arezzo”.
Moreover, CIPTEC partners had short discussions with local and national stakeholders, who attended the Conference, promoting the project and investigating possible collaborations with them. Among others, CIPTEC was presented to the General Secretary for Transport of the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks and to the Greek Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy.
