An interactive validation workshop on existing innovative supply and the 3rd CIPTEC project meeting will take place in Budapest on 11-13 of May 2016.
This interactive validation workshop aims to disseminate the knowledge gained during the project to the public transport market and to get feedback on the results. During CIPTEC project’s activities, the 31 most promising innovations for attracting more passengers to public transport were selected. The selection was made from a pool of over 200 innovations applicable to public transport, other transport and other businesses sectors.
Representatives of Public Transport Operators and Public Transport Authorities together with the CIPTEC project partners will participate in the validation workshop and provide their feedback on these innovations. All information gathered will be reported on, and included in the toolbox that will be developed later in the CIPTEC project. In this toolbox, operators and authorities (or others) will be able to find the innovations that are most relevant to them towards attracting more customers.
The CIPTEC project meeting will be organized in parallel with the spring General Assembly of European Metropolitan Transport Authorities (EMTA), which is member of the CIPTEC consortium. Thus, EMTA’s members’ delegates will have the chance to participate in the interactive validation workshop. The workshop will be moderated by Mr. Otto Cazemier, Mr. Frank Bouma and Mr. Eelco Bos representing Mobycon, a Dutch Transport, Traffic and Mobility Consultancy firm and partner of CIPTEC, as well.
During the 3rd CIPTEC consortium meeting that will be held during these days in Budapest, project partners will discuss about the work progress and the main risks and proposals regarding each Work Package. Moreover, they will prepare the next steps and organize the following workshops and meetings.
